Really dislike Emma's interrogative style of interviewing. So frustrating to listen to.

Ah blimey wanted to hear more from the amazing Rebecca. That chap waffled on in his own lingo until I stopped listening and then got the opportunity to dis her work in a thinly veiled way at the end. We all know the importance of breathing. It affects every system in the body so do your research mate!

Oh no, I'm devastated this day has finally arrived. Goodbye Jane 😭

I dread the day when Jane and Jenny leave! Each time I tune into a podcast, I do it with baited breath. It won't be the same 😱

Anyone that wants 'fairtrade' porn should check out the wonderful makelovenotporn website. It's about real sex, and well worth checking out as an alternative to the main sites.

As a cis woman, I can't understand why other cis women want to try to hard to protect and gatekeep the label of women to only cis women. I felt the "fair play for women" lady had a decent point about making sure the laws still worked but then she dropped straight into pure transphobia.

This was in regards to one of the books that she brought out called The illustrated Mum in which the parent is tattooed and also has bipolar. Methinks Jacqui writes about things but she knows little about, enjoying sweeping generalisations.

3 years ago reply 0

In regards to Jacqueline Wilson, I can't bear to listen to her since I heard one of her talks in which she was so defamatory regarding women with tattoos, implying they were neglectful parents.

How about a talk about infidelity and how women get over it

I've been living in England for 5 years, but the rest of my family lives in Italy. This virus is not like a "normal" flu, and the "mild" symptoms described most times include developing pneumonia for over a week. 30 and 40 years old with no underlying conditions have died as well, so it's not entirely true only the over 70 should be worried. Remember a normal flu doesn't put the world in a lock down, so don't panic but don't underestimate this virus either.

I'm incredibly disappointed in your discussion over the fracturing of the Union after the SNP won the election in Scotland. Boris may be a unionist, but he isn't Scotland's keeper. To flatly refuse a second referendum when the Scottish population clearly voted for a party which stood on that mandate is an affront to democracy. I have come to expect more depth from Women's Hour than this piece afforded, and it's a shame you didn't explore the massive deviation in politics North of the border from the direction of travel of the Conservative party. That matters to women in Scotland and it is a beacon for many in the rest of the UK.

It does confuse, as it is meant to: to rebrand, market propagandist. by projecting on to the other the misogyny and race hatred of ISLAM istitutes martial law segregation social structure based on extortion.

very informative! great X

The contract where a Woman's vulva is sold by adult men to safeguard notions of purity and martial supremacy happens underneath Wo'ns Hour cowardly editorial table. What is in front of your emancipation model is a priviledging of a womb for hire to the sons of adam. In this worldly ideology the consent to a caste system where you are covered/uncovered meats; Asia Bibi giving cool water is rejected.Have Islam feminists decided what you want to hear? Silly old wife stoned by Angels.

In the late 70's & 80's in BC lay midwives and childbirth activism was hugely popular among educated and other concerned parents. Britains childbirth educator former midwife, Elizabeth author of many books normalised and shared midwifery perspective & skills. We found tge Cesarean rate stayed around 25% due to gynecologists pushing dangers of birth and booking them to fit their golf interests! Get the male medical model switched over to a female dominated field and we would see rates drop significantly. Gyne get paid too much for planned C sections.
