They were probably worried she was going to leave home and probably eventually talk about what was going on in the house

With the missing bones … wouldn t surprise me if Rose fed the kids some of the human flesh

What you said to Roses elderly mother in her house at the end was quite brutal.

very interesting to hear about a family member's process of grief and recovery to forgiveness. and what a stunningly beautiful poem her sister wrote, i was in tears at the end when I heard it. Lucy was obviously an incredibly talented and sensitive, thoughtful young lady.

Enthralling listen, some of the sound quality is a bit sketchy but it is warned about at the start. Also I think if the interviews were just read verbatim by the narrator some of the vibe would be lost. Highly recommended!

@dark post. What I can't get my head around is, was she killed because she brought the magazines into school?... I remember this case all over the news here in Ireland.

I can't be the only one who finds the format of audio interview/then explanation of of what was just said to be frustrating? I think the audio could be left out and it wouldn't affect the content.

This is an interesting podcast but the quality of some of the audio with the interviews is really bad (and I don't have a hearing problem) which is a shame.

Excellent podcast the simple no frills style really works and had me totally engaged. Also interesting about poor Heather, would she of escaped her terrible fate had she got the job at the holliday camp or would they still have killed her before she was able to escape? It's interesting she was killed at this critical moment
