I am in complete shock over this. I was ending my shift today when the ATL DA announced this. I just sat there in complete disbelief. I am in Illinois, unfortunately. South/Central Illinois, but Illinois nonetheless. I have wore a badge everyday of my adult life, since 1991. 97 more Mondays wearing a badge, then I’m out. I’m done. I, honestly can’t take it anymore. I love the job. I hate the people anymore.
