I will deeply miss this funny, meaningful, informative, entertaining, enthusiastic podcast by two highly credentialed and intelligent historians! You have added flesh to the bones of history and connected the dots to current events. Your team has done an amazing job providing context and insight into each episode. Thank you. Wonderful series! Lots of interesting information. What can make that information get across even more directly is top quality editing of dialogue. By dropping repeated words in a sentence, ums and ahs, unneeded words such as ’you know’ and ’like’ you can trim episodes down, get the very same message across in a seamless experience for listeners. I’m offering my services as a dialogue editor completely free of charge for the first session. michaelstephengoff@gmail.com

Great Episode! I had never considered UFOs to be a reflection of our dreams and fears as a historical thread. Thanks.

A brilliant and inspiring discussion that ironically is generated by a dangerous comment from our neo-fascist former president.

I have thought for many years the GOP has become a radical Reactionary party willing to take us back to the 1950s. With the recent decisions that strengthen State’s rights that goal is nearly completed. It is astonishing then for Democrats like Joe Biden to insist we can ”do business” with Republicans. GOP is not interested in shared governance; it wants one party rule, and is willing to trample the rights of the majority to obtain it. Thus, taking away unenumerated rights such as abortion.
