I feel that the six feet was for tracking purposes that they proposed. Our phones GPS location are accurate to about 6’ diameter.
Respectfully, the bootstraps comment was geared toward the entitled thinking that all anyone has to do is work and life will treat them fairly and they will thrive. The cliche is insulting because millions of people do work hard and they aren’t able to make enough money. We aren’t in a world where systems are equal and hard work is the main factor for success, so to subscribe to this idea is insulting to those struggling.
