Also - it bothers me that the court system is set up so lawyers’ only goal is to win, not to help deliver justice.

It’s baffling to me how the court won’t even grant him a retrial. Like the podcaster said, they aren’t asking for Leo to be freed on the spot! Just to relook at all the evidence!

I reckon your other pod wasn’t a mistake. No way he did it with no witnesses

Why’d you listen if you didn’t like it? I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Leo’s journey, and you’re asking who could love bone valley? Stfu

On episode halfway home I was at work crying my eyes out this entire episode. Keep on fighting Leo, from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️

My ex-husband was paroled after only five years, and his transition was still ridiculously hard. He’d never had a smart phone, didn’t have have a driver licence, couldn’t get a job to pay his supervision fees. After 2 years of basically living as my dependant, he couldn’t stand it and he dumped me. I know you wanted him out, but a transitional program is really important after so long in prison.

Life on parole is not freedom. It just seems free because he is comparing to prison. A free man does not have a curfew, inability to live with his wife, senseless drug testing.

People released on parole have to pay supervision fees, and they still have a lot of limitations--inability to vote, travel beyond the county and more. He deserves to be found wrongly convicted, which entitles him to reparation.

You said a link to the petition would be in the show notes, but it isn’t. I went to lava for good home page and searched everywhere for a link and was unable to find it, unfortunately.

I wish the petition link had been in the show notes, that really would have helped

Why do people love Bone Valley? For me, it was the many taped clips where I got to hear the real voices of those involved, beginning with Leo’s description of how frantic he was when his wife was late coming home.

Victoria Avalon FOREMOST, if NOT SOLE REASON for wanting to be State Supreme Justice is the opportunity to BLOCK any EXONERATION of Leo!!! PERIODT!!! The judicial system does NOT like to FALL ON ITS OWN SWORD and ADMIT GUILT/ERROR..PERIODT!!!

The worst thing that could happen with a WRONGFUL CONVICTION is to get ENTANGLED IN THE WEB of DECEITFUL PROSECUTORS and JUDICIAL SYSTEM who just wants to SAVE FACE, regardless of the GLARING TRUTH..It’s sad, but it’s ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get UNTANGLED from that web!!!

Forgive me, but is it me, or does Victoria Avalon SOUNDS like a FULL BLOWN MAN!!??!!🤔

QUALIFIED IMMUNITY NEEDS TO STOP, there needs to be CONSEQUENCES: LOST IF PENSION, JAIL TIME for DELIBERATE FALSE ACTIONS, else this kind of stuff will NEVER END...PERIODT!!!

EXACTLY, one should NOT have to be FORCED to apologize and ADMIT that they committed the murder just in order to go home. They need to stop making that a requirement for parole!!!

It must be the most DEBILITATING and DEPRESSING FEELING to know you are in prison for killing, someone, but especially your spouse, when you know you are INNOCENT and DIDN’T DO IT!!!
