Overall I really enjoyed the coverage and analysis. Labeling the episode as "heavy" right after the episode talking about Native Women and access to justice and domestic abuse seemed a little callous. The callousness occured probably because the Native Women discussion did a great job of making me question why the lives of Native people aren't valued in the United States. So, going from that episode, which was emotionally taxing to listen to, and then coming into the an episode about protecting institutions, which was so "heavy" that the audience needed the fuzzy animal poem just seems a little tone deaf and might perpetuate the devaluation of Native lives. Like I said, you guys do a great job. I was binge listening and one story lead right into the other l, and I had this realization I just wanted to share.
I remember the haunted house case from contracts class! One of my favorite cases I've ever studied.
