100% agree! We payed off our mortgage probably around 2013/2014. Can't even remember exactly when. But the peace of mind and easier life style from having extra cash flow every month is priceless! Good luck to you both!
So key words i hear in (yours, mine, ours) budgeting. Indepandance, hidden transactions, or at least unseen. But the number 1 thing couples come for help on. COMMUNICATION. So stop doing the above and listen to your grand-parents. Thanks for the episode. My GF and I had a good conversation about it.
