Evidence and analysis which is fact according to whom?? That totally depends on which world view you are looking and speaking through. Because like you say, Mäori originally were an oral culture, therefore what we believe is true and fact was passed down from generation to generation. Again, just because the white man wrote stuff in a book doesnt mean it is true nor fact. It could be a load of shit that you are passing down now, which evidently people will start and continue to believe until people start to understand different world views and how those world views affect the way a peoples being, more so how ones world view might suppress another world view all because you dont understand, dont want to understand and continue to teach/preach what you believe is true and call all other ways of doing things 'wrong'.

What is evidence and fact mate?? Just because it's been written in a book doesnt mean it's TRUE!! I think you should continue to select your words very carefully
