This interview was so insightful into Joel. I have followed all of Hillsong music for past 5 yrs. United being my favorite Christian band as well as Hillsong Worship, they have led me into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Hearing Joel talk about his difficult season last year was very moving and exposed his big heart. I love that he humbles himself and isn't narcissistic. When I bumped into him last year at Dove Awards(2018) he had such a far off look in his eyes . I was just a fan recognizing him and acknowledging his winning an award for co-writing "100 Billion X". He graciously allowed me to have a photo taken with him. I just remember the emptiness in his eyes and I felt sad for him but not knowing why. This interview explained it. So happy Joel worked through that season with God rather than without God. The new album is incredible. I went to see United at State Farm arena in Ga. It was amazing.
