I love that you guys do this with your charming, inimitable style. Still listening to your recap on S3:E1-3, and I agree that Hemlock’s greed is his weakness, but it does blind him into neglecting his subjects, soecifically Emery, who already DOES serve as a subversive blind spot when she gives Omega a chance to surrender rather than just neutralizing her. In short, just as Palpatine sought power so much others rebelled, Hemlock will idolize such greed that Emery will rebel, and has already.
