Yes, to this deep dive! From the get-go, I felt like Blake and Justin had great chemistry and that it was Ryan who had issues with it. He was jealous, and whether he manipulated Blake or whether Blake willingly jumped on the crazy train, this was never about sexual harassment but power and control. Ryan is highly insecure and uses that freakin’ passive aggressive humor to say what he can’t say to someone’s face. Not everyone is trying to make moves on the leading lady. That’s your M.O.

In reality, oftentimes people with mental illness are actually the targets of crime because of these media portrayals. My clients have been beaten up multiple times before despite never having harmed anyone else before.
Just to be clear, not everyone with mental illness like schizophrenia will commit violent crimes. This is a common misconception that media portrays and it is very harmful. I worked with people with schizophrenia and they could be so isolated and secluded because of these perceptions. So please be mindful when discussing mental illness and saying ”without taking their pills they will kill” type things. Luke Magnotta planned his crime and actively tried to evade police. Its not the same.
