Came for the stories, left because the constant hamfisted politics. I come to fiction to avoid any real-world political ideology being directly thrown in my face. I'd prefer more Dune than Bigmouth. This leans towards the latter. Thanks for the free content, but it ain't for me.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2015/03/16/lesson-learned-from-the-shooting-of-michael-brown/?tid=a_inl-amp&utm_term=.fea409fdb491 Mike Brown was a justified shooting. Autopsy shows "hands up don't shoot" was bullshit. Why do people focus so much on a criminal going for a cop's gun, instead of Tamir Rice, a young black boy the cops rolled up on, shot with no warning, for playing with a toy gun? Why is it that the innocent never get talked about, but these in the wrong are the ones that get martyered? Immediately tarnished my view on this podcast that I was really starting to like
