Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this episode, especially as, at the same time, I was knitting a pair of socks to Christine's basic pattern, using West Yorkshire Spinners yarn! :)

Awesome podcast as a reminder that we as knitters have value. Several years ago when we raised animals ... additive free no hormones etc I would receive comments like I can buy it cheaper at the supermarket .. the best comment ever was ... well you eat for free! Give me a break lol. It's the same when a knitter creates something ... we didn't create it at no cost. I'm like you .. I don't knit to sell, I have discernment over who I will knit for and all because this is something I carve out time for myself .. to slow down .. to enjoy the thrill of the yarn being used and eventually the finished product. Thank you once again for a great podcast.
