Hearing about the racial divide over Curtis’s guilt made me wonder... Is Madeline black or white?

So much during the early days of the pandemic seemed random. I went through a McDonald’s and they wouldn’t sell me an ice cream cone, they would only sell me ice cream in a cup, even though they used gloves and never touched the cone. Walmart and other big box stores started closing at 7:00 ., as though there were more germs after dark then during the daylight hours. I don’t even know why all the car windows at church had to be up if the cars were parked at least six feet apart...

It doesn’t speak well for our justice system when reporters can uncover things that law enforcement investigators should have uncovered themselves, decades earlier.

If his conviction was overturned, I don’t even know why he needs bail. Shouldn’t he just be released, since this should be like his first trial all over again?

Unless Odell was wearing a wire, his testimony is merely hearsay and even less weighty than circumstantial ’evidence’.

Isn’t threatening a child in a closet considered child abuse??

If someone opens a home daycare center, would a offender even know they were there, since they don’t always have signs?

If cases are considered cleared just because an arrest is made, even without convictions, then areas that coerce confessions or carelessly arrest without evidence are going to have better clearance rates than jurisdictions where they are more cautious about who they arrest. Am I getting that right?

A photo lineup with only help if the perpetrator had been arrested before, and since he was from a different town he might not have been in the lineup. However, they could have done a composite sketch that might have helped.

What! You have no compassion for these families. Innocent women and children murdered. The trauma that those who witnessed this brutal act now cope with on a daily basis. The big guys in the military have way too much power clearly. Like all the cases of alleged brutality in the military, these men should have been sentenced and made accountable for their crimes. I am so sad for these people.

The that Dan and his parents went through is totally shocking and unforgivable. He needs a public apology from that idiot sheriff who has ruined his personal life.
