I loved the story. However I prefer Odin as good.

I had to look up quavers. Interesting, like cheese puffs

This was an incredible one man! It gave me the thrill such stories did when I was a kid and not an old guy that writes. Completely perfect!

I love your ramble at the end of the story. I would say that the loss of dialects in parts of England has the same effect. I am a man of Kent and the lose of the Kentish dialect is quite sad. Words like dumbledore, bumble bee, are no longer spoken in Kent.

Great reading of this classic tale! I always enjoy how the author clevery pats herself on the back within the story, regarding Mrs. Dooman’s good phrases: ”drawed out man-size in marble” and ”in their marble”.
