Thank you. I'm always weary of purchasing "Christian" curriculum because while searching I've often found ones that did not align with my view. I looked at TGTB this past summer and got really excited about it but felt uneasy in my spirit about it. Digging deeper I decided against it. Oddly enough I only have a few Osbourne books. Mostly gifted to my kids and maybe one or two I purchased yeara ago but I haven't bought since because again something didn't sit well in my spirit. I believe the holy spirt is alive and well and we as Christians should pause to listen what God has to say. I'm feeling more and more confident in using GRH curriculum.
I'm right there with you about your son and his reading! My 8 year old (almost 9 at the end of October) 3rd grader and has always had struggled with reading as well! Hes more on a 1st grade level but he has come a long way this school year so far!! We are so proud of him!!!
I miss your podcasts so much and am listening to them from the beginning again because there’s so much there that’s helped me! Please come back! Your podcasts are making a real difference and are so missed. There’s no one else out there like you that will share such raw, honest and humbling emotions and experiences.
