I’ve been playing Nikke pretty much daily since Watts recommended it and I love ShiftUp. I’m glad Watts and Briar enjoyed the demo and I can’t wait to play the full release. Just the premise was enough for me but after the demo I went ahead and pre-ordered 😎.

Memory of Goddess is the ’Vampire Survivor’ mode Watts mentioned. But yeah the game’s been top 5 highest grossing mobile RPG monthly since it began I believe. I’ve gotten through 4 of 10 levels in Memory of Goddess and I’m officially going to check out other similar games although this is basically a full flash game 🤣

Thanks for recommending Nikke back in March! I’ve been playing pretty much daily since then and it is knocking on the door of the best overall game I’ve ever played! So many amazing characters. Sadly many can’t get past the attractive character models which is funny because if you’re focused on the fighting, you really have no time to look at that lol. Nikke has opened me up to multiple genres thanks to event mini games and diverse design. Nier Automata is an example. Memory of Goddess is A+

I just wanted to mention that you actually can run, slide, slow down time, shoot, and slash simultaneously in Cyberpunk. In some cases, such as shooting while carrying a body or while vaulting over obstacles, you may need a perk unlock. After 960 hours in Destiny 2 and 150 hours in Cyberpunk, I can say Cyberpunk combat is far superior, including gunplay. Since this is 2023 online content, I will conclude by saying ’IN MY OPINION’ ©️

I like what Rin said about metrics. Bungie is actually the people that have been given great power and no meaning aka the people that formed one entity...called Bungie; I mean the Witness. Bungie is basically saying they are the enemy!

This is great for Gambit because only people that like Gambit will play Gambit now. Instead of people that come in and say you to the objectives, now people that actually want to play by the rules can enjoy themselves without cheese strats. If people hate it, it doesn’t deserve to use company resources.

Marvels Avengers is the best of both worlds. I got to experience it for three years as a live service game and now everything is fully unlocked with cosmetics and I can play offline indefinitely! None of the playable content was beyond a paywall despite a huge story campaign and three smaller narrative campaigns, each character has a battle pass that never expire, and there are dozens of missions with a variety of modes. A deep combat and customization system and great in game systems... ❤️

Not seeing how osmosis is all that different from energy primaries. It’s not really a mind-blowing thing imo.

May have been a scuffed episode, but Lego with anyone from the permanent crew is now more comprehensive and there are more senses of humor at play 👍

The biggest problem with having the seasons complete the campaign is that as you all alluded to, that means the deluxe edition is the only complete narrative and the seasons will still be sunset per Bungie. Only the expansions and dungeons are permanent if I recall. We are seeing some serious planning gaps come to light and I just hope those that are invested don’t lose complete trust with regards to narrative satisfaction. It is almost reaching game of thrones levels of whitewalker baiting.
