I have been loving this podcast. I am currently reading the Bible all the way through with the Bible Recap by Tara Leigh Cobble. This is my third year doing it and finding this podcast has been wonderful to listen to along with my daily reading ! I found you through youversion ! I suspect you mean Bohemian Reformation, not Bohemian Revolt (this was a whole different thing that took place between 1618-1620). Hus died in 1415 and never led any crusades! He was just bravely criticising the church. The movement of the Hussites formed after his death and followed his teachings but not methods unfortunatelly...
I am hooked from the first episode. I started the podcast before but then life got in the way. However, this morning I felt the Holy Spirit guided me back to listen again. Yay!
Bema has taught me so much about biblical topics. But, I am a Christian and becoming resentful with Marty’s casual snarky remarks and a seemingly cynical view of Jesus. Am I just hearing him wrong? Not being sarcastic and can take constructive criticism about my feelings. Thank you for all of your knowledge 🙏.
I’ve been listening to BEMA for about 3 months. As a former Catholic, I didn’t learn the Bible, as a child. I’ve learned more from 20 Bema episodes than I expected. Excellent information! I’m not being ungrateful, but the woman in this podcast seems bold and a bit sarcastic to the men. I love you guys, but just wanted to share my thoughts.
