Hello! Just wanted to mention the first woman presidential candidate Victoria Woodhull. She was a spiritualist / clairvoyant and ran in 1872. She was part of the suffragette movement but she was more progressive. She believed in a womanā€™s right to divorce, have ownership over her own progeny. She also believed in free love and birth control. She was also a champion for the civil rights of people of color, which was not the case for most suffragette leaders.

I loved this conversation! I agree with the idea of a proportional tax that discourages price gouging. I thought price gouging was illegal in the US? I think the key to irrefutable implementation of the tax will be to nail down the point at which profits stimulate economic hardship with an established rate relationship. The equation will inform how to compose the tax law
