Excellent interview! I know a marine veteran of this battle - as a lieutenant, he lost an eye to grenade shrapnel there. Went on to serve in the US State Department.

A bit of a slow start but once it got going it was compelling listening. It could have done with being 30 mins longer as there were so many interesting perspectives that could have been explored if there had been more time. Highly recommend.

I thought the podcast was balanced overall. A difficult subject matter to research in depth without bringing lots of myth and untruths to it. Usually the domain of those with a right wing bias I thought it reasonably balanced overall.
All the Alarmstart interviews have been very informative with interesting perspective from someone who clearly knows their subject matter. Highly recommended.
No a fan of Mary labelling the right and specifically Randolph hurst as a supporter of the party.
