I was enthralled by every single word of this audio book! Well written, well read, well done! And here I though Mr. Swain was just a great funny guy! I would listen to many many more just like this!

I love this show so much. How come Daniel said this was his second episode though? Hasn't he done like 4 or 5?
Absolute best way a guy could/did dump me (after a month or so) met me out with my friends at a beer garden, paid our tab & took us all out for ice cream, took me aside & was like "you're great, so I'm going to let you be free to find the right person for you, I recognize that person isn't me" which was true, we were at different places in our lives. Since then I've adjusted that to be "it is clear to me now that you are someone elses ideal mate/life partner & I refuse to be the reason you are not free to be with them when they come along" ... if everyone kept that mindset (every "failed relationship" was in fact sucessful in clarifying what you do or do not want in your life partner so once you know they aren't the one for you, let them be free to find the one for them) people might be happier.
You don't have to "know they're the 1" but you can usually "know they're for shure not for you" by the end of a 1st date, so shake their hand & say "nice to have met you, I wish you the best"
