I enjoy this podcast. As a book person, I actually find this group kind of interesting bc it gives me a sense of how the show comes off without book background. I hope to see the current seasons appear here as well!

Per Diana Gabaldon, the books are Jamie's story as told my Claire. The TV show is open to interpretation as to whose story it is. Ron Moore leans towards it being Claire's story.

Jamey did not carry around the deed for one year. He back dated it at the time of the battle. If he was captured all of his lands would be confiscated. If he signed it at the time of the battle it would have been null and void. By back dating the transfer, then he had no claim on the lands at the time of the battle.
