poor girl Treme, still believing Larry Nassar cares about anyone. it is not like loving your child if they were a school killer. this man knowingky manipulated girls for decades, and the only person she loved was a mosaic of false echoes and well thought out stories. he was never Larry. he was ALWAYS a rapist. i wish women would stop defending predators. stop praying for them. they dont give a shit about yiu .

Can mothers please stop saying, “As a mom..” Because we are all fucking ADULTS here, and it is NOT a doctor and a patient, it is a grown man and a girl. When will women wake up and recognize predators in our midst? Hiding in plain sight? Charming and disarming you? I don’t care how “nice” Suzanne is, as a matter of fact, her “niceness” is what allowed a psychopath to rape BOTH of her daughters.

How in the world did the 1st cop get promoted? She should have been fired!

Please pass on to Kyle my wholehearted admiration for her amazing intelligence, strength and eloquence in surviving that disgusting man Larry Nasar.

I want to thank you for creating this podcast and sharing these stories. It is so, so, so important! I am just beginning to be open about my sex abuse as a child. There are many people who don't understand the level of denial and minimizing that is all too common when you're a survivor! So thank you for all of the emotional details. My heart goes out to these young women and to the parents.

Many of these kids are elite level athletes so highly likely they are driven to please. Please their parents, please the coach, the Doctor etc. Good lesson to try and have an open channel with kids, and listen.

My sympathy for the victims is only slightly stronger than my desire to see this guy get a punch in the face.

PS The YouTube videos of the victim's impact statements at Larry Nassar's sentencing hearing are riviting. Such brave and intelligent young woman. Bless you all.

Gaslighting... The detective while interviewing Larry talked almost as much as he did. She failed to ask critical follow up questions because she was trying not to put pressure on him. He should have been interviewed by someone properly trained in interviewing suspects. Larry buffaloed her. Such a shame. So sorry Amanda.

Nice work on a horrible story.

Yeah, I really enjoy the episodes, but they are too short. They are so many podcasts, that it's hard to wait a week for one that's so short.

5 years ago reply 1

Wish the episodes were longer. I prefer podcasts that are at least 45 mins. 25 mins isn't long enough to get really involved. Great podcast otherwise.
