I am currently working at a place called greentec Auto and we rebuild ev batteries so there is a growing market for used ev batteries which should help used ev cars. For example a normal new Chev volt battery is about $16,000 but greentec sells them for about $5000 with an 18 month warranty or $9,000 with a 36 month warranty. I imagine as more evs get sold and resold more used batteries will be available.
