Your interview with Judge Salas is always so touching. Parents are supposed to provide their kids guidance, but in this tragic case, Daniel is his Mom’s guiding light. I admire her resilience and strength.
One more thing. Stop saying Trump is insane. He knows exactly what he’s doing. When he says something that is the exact opposite of reality, it’s part of a deliberate strategy. The specific tactic is ”accuse the other side of what you are guilty of”. When you dismiss it by saying Trump is just crazy, you’re missing an opportunity to point out these tactics so that people can recognize them.
Let’s not pretend that the ex-president’s remarks on Jan 7 were sincere. That was pure damage control. He said on Jan 6, during the Capitol Hill riot, ”we love you”. So don’t play the game of pretending those Jan 7 words were his actual position, and that his position changed somehow. He always supported the violent riot, before, during, and after.
