I was hiking a below the ridge trail on Red Mountain in Birmingham, Alabama. On the ridge there are radio/TV towers that rise more than 1300ft above the ridge. I have felt that tingling sensation but was lucky the towers took the strike. Funny feeling when all of the hair on your body stands up.
