Hello! TSA worker here! Fun facts about the body scanner, it alarms when something is too thick before finding your body. IE: wearing pants/shorts under a skirt, pleated skirt, overalls, padded bras. One thing people with metal in their bodies, it’s actually alarming on the scar tissue. Which is also why women with c-section/hysterectomy scars get patted down in the groin area a lot. Also braided hair is overlapping layers, so it’ll alarm. So yeah!
