Michael, you did an amazing job. I sat here for hours and listened to each of them and as many shows and books I’ve read you said things I didn’t know. How I love your show and how you give the facts and you stay focus on the main points. You breathe new life into each of these storys , keep up the good work. 💛

It just blows my mind that people didn’t investigate Karen more. She wanted to get back at her husband so she copied the same way he wrote. That was the she was seeing they say by the road and it was her brothers so I dont see how they went out there way to over look her.

@Micheal Whelan Hi a Mhichil, I like yer episodes on the Brabant Killings. You point out some interesting things. How did you proceed to get all the intel? Here is Belgium the documentaries are all by the RTBf, VRT, VTM or RTL-TVI, public and private channels(but those last get public money) mix truth with lies. Really those Wilfried Martens and Merchior Wathelet were never procecuted for their complicity. And those local Belgium TV channel NEVER point that out. The dogs never bite their ...

Great introduction, good music too but it’s mixed too loud and muddles the voices.

This case took place in 1898 but the .380 caliber wasn‘t invented until 1908. I wonder if this is a mistake or typo? Great episode regardless, never heard of this event.

Great podcast! It‘s one of my favorites.

That ‘get vaccinated” part was annoying. The vaccine isn‘t good for everyone and has become such medical propaganda. Don‘t give medical advice, stick to true crime. You do a great show and have been listening for years. Keep up the good work!

The toxicology report found traces of heroin, meth and bipolar meds in his system. They think he over dosed and his friend freaked out and buried him instead of calling the police. So so sad. I hope his family is doing ok

Very new to your podcast and working my way from oldest to newest. This one is by far my fave so far. I listen whilst working nights and this one hard me thinking all the way through. Thank you 😁

Trash podcast, using left-wing talking points out of context is embarrassing. I'll listen somewhere else for true crime. I won't miss the lispy delivery either.

I was with you on this podcast until you took Trumps words out of context. Shame on you for being part of the swamp. Look at your history. Biden is the racist. Your true colors are showing. Liberalism is a mental disorder. Trump is trying to save America from the left who has plans to turn is to communism. You are ignorant sir.

Enough of the Biden commercials!

I never could bring myself to watch the video. I'm having a lot of trouble listening to this audio too. It is beyond devastating. I keep having to pause it... I'm hoping to get through the rest of this episode because I know that this is such an important story and I almost feel as though I owe it to ALL of the victims. Thank you for sharing the story... Eventually I will make it past the 45 min mark.

Great episode. I'm from Glasgow and something that's always stuck in my head regarding this. The bodies were found in Langside in the south of Glasgow, Bridgeton in the East of Glasgow and Scotstoun in the West of Glasgow. Was there ever an unsolved murder of a woman in the North of Glasgow onw that maybe wasn't linked to him at the time?

I just started following your podcast.. Sadly I can't handle the loud musical intro.. I will have to check one of your more recent episodes and see if you change things

Thank you for all of these Bardstown interlude episodes. The events in that small town are so bizarre and mysterious... I just wish there were more answers! Thanks for keeping us listeners updated. I actually was wondering about the twins/mistaken identity angle when you brought it up. What ARE those odds? In the end, my heart just goes out to all of the citizens there.

9 minute update episode..5 commercials.. Why dont all podcasts do like Joe Rogan. Thats the best way

5 years ago reply 1

I don't know who controls this, but commercials right in the middle of a sentence are really frustrating.

This might be my favorite episode so far. It is a truly fascinating story that Michael Whelan covers well. Obviously, we don't really know what the truth is regarding lake city quiet pills, but I love all the speculation surrounding it... especially the acronym at the end (I won't give it away!) That was a great theory.
