My double bill would be The Behind the Mask: the Rise of Leslie Vernon The Hills Run Red Mainly because of the theme of the slasher being the focus of his own feature and the lead playing a major role in building the shape up.. Another would be Hatchet John Carpenter's Halloween To see the evolution or more rather the De-evoultion of the slasher films where the it's more bout shock value and gore to the more tame character driven stroy. It be interesting to see how the each generation sees the slasher genre and on it grew. To me those are my double bills As for the franchise one That's tuff. Because my instinct wants to go towards Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (imo is arguably the best in the franchise) to Friday the 13th Jason Lives... for alot shit the Jason lives gets its truly a bad film in way house of 1,000 corpses is bad but you enjoy it because it's a fun film. Also cuz Tommy plays a major role in killing Jason and being the 1st male survivor to ever defeat a shape. But I also want to go towards Scream and Scream 4. I feel watching those movies apart especially with the time jump would add more to the story then watching 2 or 3. 3 was bad own 1, 2 and 4 lol... if I had to choose I might go with Friday.
