I fell in love with my (future wife) when we both were about 9 or 10 until we hit 13 and I was forced to move away. Later that summer we thought about how to stay together, from having a pregnancy to me moving in with her mom. I do see her as that same 13 year old that I fell in love with as a child, but we are adults in adult bodies. That's just the way it is. I would never know how it feels to be older than her, but I know love is love and when you both have it.. it's the best feeling in the entire world.

Is there really no way that they could move? It wouldn’t take much at all to set up a go fund me for them...
Got no problem with the age difference if the love is true because true love is hard to find. So we owe it to ourselves to grab it despite the judgement of others regarding what’s considered traditional or “normal”. But what I DO have an issue with is falling in love with a woman you watched grow up from a child. I personally would ALWAYS see her as the little girl who grew up with my daughter and could never see her that way. Even if I admire the strong, intelligent young lady she’s become. I know this podcast began with an admonishment of judgement, but I have to be honest. I think that’s still creepy from the man’s perspective. I can understand a young woman falling for an older, successful man she feels safe with though.
