Why not skip past all the deceptive twists and just call it ”BC” and ”AD”? If you want to deny Jesus Christ, then pick another dating system -- Chinese, Jewish, Muslim, whatever. Don’t play silly games and pretend to be so sophisticated and erudite. It’s not a good look on you.
The problem with that complaint is that the first Christians were Jewish, and they preached the Gospel to the Gentiles. There’s also evidence that the Last Supper if Jesus was observed in the Jerusalem property occupied by the Essenes there. There’s so much ignorance in this podcast, it’s shameful. And why refer to time periods as ”BCE” and ”CE”? What makes the ”Current” or ”Common Era” the way we number years? Oh yeah! The current era began with the coming of Jesus Christ!
I subscribed to this podcast hoping for knowledgeable analysis. Instead it’s claptrap. The narrators, and/it writers, are obviously anti-Christian, claiming that the Essenes ”may have influenced Christians.” Another possibility, which they bypassed, is that Jesus is the Christ, and that He taught the Essenes. In the first part the narrators talked about the Israeli Jews protesting any connections between the Essenes and Christians because, they claimed, it would erase their Jewish identity......
If it didn‘t exist then why did GOD tell MOSES how to build it and what to put into, I‘ve never heard of so much BS on that it never existed.
I believe it‘s in the Vatican and there not going to say nothing.
Very intrigued. I think my wife might enjoy this. I know my daughter will.
