A huge injustice was perpetrated on this man, and without knowing I was part of it. I decided not to read the book. The reasons were my own but SD states them in this interview.

lol Taylor Swift is the posterchild for materialism and this guy thinks she represents a resistance to the a.i. future? Taylor Swift made her buck pandering to white girls & women who suffer from arrested development (there are a LOT of them)

I enjoyed the session you had with regard to difficulties with raising a family etc it was well presented etc The only thing is that as a person who’s 65 and with two children My wife and I did not have very much support at all My parents and we’re love their grandchildren but they did not spend much time with them did not help us except one time to babysit my in-laws lived in a different city so we were offending for ourselves. So what I was hearing in your broadcast made it seem as if it’s wha

Ezra I highly doubt that you realize how arrogant condescending and elitist you sound to regular normal people who are actually voting and deciding these things. I can honestly see why Biden gets a chip on the shoulder when it comes to people like you and people who ran around the Obama team even though I love Obama you guys are arrogant and look down at Biden constantly

Democrats will never have legitimacy in their ”defense of democracy” as long as their party selection process refuses to take the people’s vote into account. Allowing Democrats to vote for their own representatives?! WHAT A RADICAL IDEA!!!

Asking for book recommendations at the point that conversation had led up to seemed so trite. Like all the air was let out of the balloon, but that is the essence of the Palestinian existence. It is the saddest state of affairs I have ever seen. Why is the world tolerating it?!?!

And there’s the ”equality has gone too far” argument, what a clown. I’m not interested in a democratic party that caters to bigots and science denialists.

”Voters judge you on the basis of the results they see and experience in their real life.” This is simply not a true statement and seems to be a glaring problem in our guest’s calculus. Anyone who would vote for Trump is uninterested in real-world results. They are voting for their feelings. They FEEL like the ”working class” will do better than the ”elites” with Trump. These people have no inkling that the policy changes being discussed in this podcast ever took place. They don’t really care.

Oh shocking the AEI fellow wants to tell people on the left that being anti prejudice is fine but we took it too far when we speak of the actual systems and hierarchies. Peak “individualist” brain rot.

Thanks for having this guest. Burnout and dwindling boundaries make one feel less than human. Technology has become an end in itself instead of a means. And it’s all-pervasiveness makes it all the more crushing. One cannot even take advantage of coupons anymore unless they are plugged in. And this is coming from a software engineer in the thick of it all.

You can’t ignore the ethnonationalism of Israel and then pretend it’s like other democratic states. Zionism is like every other ethnonationalist dogmatic ideology. It’s not special, you’re right. That doesn’t mean we should accept it. Those of us on the left don’t accept it in other countries, why would Israel be special?
