Really appreciate this podcast! I worked as a climbing gear buyer for Mountain Gear wayyyy back in the day, when outdoor gear sales reps were primarily men, one notable exception being Patagonia, things were still difficult for women, to actually break through the man-ceiling & still feed & nurture your children without just collapsing, lol... you’re awesome Ashley, stay strong, you’re a mentor

Great episode, the 911 info is especially valuable, I knew none of this. Always try 911 regardless of bars. Thank you!

Way too eerie.. my name is Scott, my climbing partner is named Joe. We both mountain bike, and the fork we both use is called the "fox 40", which is the type of whistle that the Joe in this episode used... I've (accidentally) stood on that very same cornice. You wouldn't know it's a cornice just from looking at it!
