"a few of the more important religious buildings were untouched and still sit in the Syrian desert to this day". Oh, this hurts to hear 9 years later.

How about you stick to history of Rome, and not inject your own political opinions?, no longer listening.

You've got a great voice, and this along with your content makes this a fantastic podcast to listen to. My only request would be that you talk slightly about your sources for the different events, as this can allow your listeners to explore the subject in greater depth themselves. Keep up the good work!

Excellent podcast. I'm 30 or so episodes deep and loving it. Thankyou.

Just finished...a few years since ot was published, but just as good and easier to binge on when catching up late. Well worth a listen for those with a passing or serious interest in Rome. I learned a ton partucularly regarding the early years of the Republic and the late years of the Empire. Thanks for producing!
