Two notes I need to make: 1: he classes the 'middle market' as that below $1bn turnover. Pardon? In no classification in banks and finance broadly is that the middle market. Generally the middle market is that just above SME i.e. companies with 100+ employees or circa $150m turnover. 2. Clearly they only ever intend to run these scf programs with anchor buyer clients of MNC Institutional investment grade clients - very little risk. Whereas that there is the exact issue with these types of SCF's - they do not provide it at the levels it is demanded = in the actual real middle market $150m+ anchor clients which would benefit unteen sme suppliers who actually would benefit greatly.
