I think that because the counties do have more deputies per acre compared to the blm is kind of what he was getting at. If more money was able to go into the county budgets they would be able to hire more deputies to patrol more area. The big problem that I see is how well are the local deputies going to be able to enforce the laws that the blm currently enforces. I could be wrong but if one of the local deputies in my county got called on a poaching or any other crime regarding wildlife or land use, how well are they going to know the little details?? It just seems to me like they couldn't possibly enforce the laws as well as the blm officers. Kind of confused myself there but I think you will get the idea.
Good podcast Cameron, something I was hoping you'd address is his statement regarding the BLM cops. He stated there are not enough officers multiple times. He posed that giving the funding for those officers to the state would make the system better and would create more officers. How does the same amount of money given to a different group create more jobs? Seems like a load of BS.

Hey Cam, I'm a European living in Germany and I'm in the process of learning to be a Hunter (Jagdschein) Bow hunting isn't allowed here so I'll be travelling somewhere else to do my first Bow Hunt, I'm 100% with you on the bear hunt, and I too will think twice about putting it out there. Keep up the good work Cam you inspire me to “Keep Hammering“ :-)
