I've been a long time listener and truly love this podcast. It has helped me greatly in my spiritual life as well as providing laughs along the way. I recommend this podcast to all those who want to grow in their faith. If you're one of those strict, pious, no nonsense type of Catholic, that's great but this may not be the best podcast for you. I still recommend to all!
I so appreciate this topic and intend to share it with my adult children for their consideration/education.
She was on the roof because it was the ritual cleansing after her cycle. The women traditionally bathed on the roof since all the men were supposed to be gone. The king was supposed to be gone, with his men.
I enjoyed the perspectives regarding kids at Mass. Perhaps you could address a related topic which bithers me much more than kids do. That is old people who are using Mass for social hour and talking throughout the liturgy and even communion. How do you deal with people who obviously know better (as opposed to kids who are still learning how to reign themselves in) than to behave that way?
What are some practical steps to making the Church appear more feminine?
