Lol tried to get that dude to swap for your nft based on your follower numbers, knowing this was the last season and hence you wouldn’t have anything for anyone to follow anymore.

Yeah, tragic end to a legendary show. Collateral damage, victims of the cause

What. You forgot to thank PJ and Sruthi. What’s wrong with this world.

Wait a sec.... So now that spotifly (🤣) tries to take over podcast and turns it into a Netflix type ordeal, free speech is compromised!? Not that I agree with Joe Rogan, but i am not comfortable with Spotify curating facts and information that my ears can listen to. And so, gimlet compromised it’s integrity by selling itself into Spotify.

Sorry guys, this wasn't a good episode. I know way more about not being able to burp than I ever wanted to!

#episode 177.....really? calling people of colour, specifically black people? ..... why don't you just say "calling all black people?" .....why add the 'people of colour if you don't actually mean all people of colour?.....just say it as it is 🙄

Give it time

@Alyt222 : PJ was the life of this podcast... not sure I'll be listening any more 😔

I was sure it was over then I saw there is a part 4. I'm like W H A T !?

I guess what i wanted to say is that it's really sad to hear you guys being so careful.

3 years ago reply 0

It's so strange that a iron spine show like this which has managed to navigate very controversial topics without being put into hot water now suddenly cannot handle this particular controversy. Why would Shruthi and PJ be put into a position wher they have to leave? What good does THAT do? The reply all that i know would have had a non-careful conversation about this with PJ and Shruthi, then move on.

See you June 10th! :) Appreciate you guys giving the update

offer. The "space" that you're referring to is not replaceable. Good luck, I hope it goes somewhere but I'm done.

@FunkedGibberish : This was my favorite podcast. I suggested it to everyone. Now it's just a bitter placeholder. I can only listen to old episodes. The ending of this show is a perfect example of thinking too hard and what happens when you overanalyze. I'm so sad that PJ is gone. I didn't like Truthie so her leaving is... Well it could go unnoticed. What's frustrating is when the whole purpose of the show is lost to politics and red tape. I've unfollowed and I'm no longer interested in whatever this show has to

A good podcast brought down by a boring, non issue, badly investigated woke culture bullshit story.

I'm so confused... I listened to both Test Kitchen episodes and I thought they were good and well done...

Another great podcast bites the dust...

@GreenGraves we literally no nothing about what is alleged and your first thought is the people making the claims are the problem because they didn't speak up in the moment? Its not political correctness is consequences for your actions. Sad news all around...

3 years ago reply 1

I don't yet understand what's happened with the staff and how it influenced the production of the show but I am very sorry to see the show fall apart.

3 years ago reply 0

Truly disappointing. What were they thinking airing these episodes without self-reflecting first.

3 years ago reply 1

Oh this is bullshit. So sick of this garbage, and all these people crawling out of the woodwork when they didn't when these things were supposedly going on. It's political correctness out of control and I'm unsubscribing.

This episode is crucial listening for anyone who wants to learn where Q-anon originated.

omg such good storytelling

I love listening to the interaction of the hosts and all the laughter

Should have just played the song on YouTube and wait for it to get copyright claimed

3 years ago reply 0

There should be a playlist for this situation... Something to make cops feel as uncomfortable as possible

3 years ago reply 0

This episode was something special in the context of 2020, when we can't meet new people outside. I kind of want to talk to random people on the phone now!

3 years ago reply 0

How dare you say mushroom foraging is lame!! 😭

3 years ago reply 0

After listening to 15 minutes of this, I get really uncomfortable of how the host is trying to force that guy to confess how guilty he is. Putting pressure on people for what they haven’t done is not the way to solve a racism issue; you and all people should know that.

Liked the episode but found it weirdly ironic it was sponsored by mayonaise

'i didn't want to ask anymore people, so I didn't'. Nice journalism mate.

I love this story! Hope for the future restored a little :)

they gave words to what I constantly experienced while in predominantly white spaces. I'm so relieved. I wish I had a support network while in elementary, Jr high, the children's shelter system, and onto college. even going into my work space. these traumatic experiences scarred me and left me so distrustful of people and new spaces. I thank you for this podcast episode. warms my heart.

I absolutely know how this feels. Lost my mom to cancer when i was young, and now 6 years later, i just had twins, amd my mom will never get to hold them or teach them how to walk. What great therapy this lady gave herself. ❤

3 years ago reply 0

I agree, this episode is scary. It feels powerless to be so exposed, without your consent for one, but especially without your knowledge-just so someone could make even $1?? No wonder people go live in bunkers off the grid!!

3 years ago reply 0

Sending random black people money on venmo....who in God's green earth thought that was a good idea for racial injustice? That literally does nothing for the cause or anything....just confused by this whole episode lol good ep though

3 years ago reply 1

Wtf, are you seriously upset that a person didn't go to a riot during a pandemic?!?

3 years ago reply 2

Ridiculously good episode! Great storytelling guys.

As always, a brilliant episode. Thanks!!!

Theory: they did have it on their playlist but store Brian realised they never asked for permission and didn't want to get into legal trouble so he said it wasn't on it...

Im so confused, this episode was released in 2018 but at the end it talks about corona virus. I know its a rebroadcast but the date still says March 2018. Mandella effect? 😂

Love this episode! Made me laugh a lot! I hope xmas Brian gets a good deal!
