@pbge16542zx7r : Hi, I have just found this podcast. I live in the Highlands of Scotland with 2 adoptive boys, and we are having a difficult time right now. I listened to the mentor moment ' You are not my real mum'. Your encouragement gave me strength and your repeated affirmation that I was a good mum made me cry with emotion and gratitude. Thank you.

Episode #94 is such a great help for families looking for an understanding of SSP! I also appreciated Melissa's example with her own children about how the child's history impacts perception of situations. Great work Melissa and Lisa!

@nzql85 : Thank you so much for this Lisa! My husband and I are about 4 weeks out from our birth moms due date. The 3 of us have an amazing relationship with tons of openness. The hardest part so far has been trying to work with the hospital to have a plan in place and find out their protocol. No one seems to know, they keep bouncing us from department to department. We are also trama trained foster parents so this was very helpful on many levels.
