If Sofia lied in her confession so she could be imprisoned again to feel ”safe” then why is she on the run? Isn’t that one of the most unsafe positions to be in? Sofia is a lying manipulator, everything that comes out of her mouth is a lie. There’s no doubt in my mind she was directly involved with the murder of Marlyn. That whole entire family is sick, toxic, and dysfunctional.

Great podcast! I am anxiously following along. I lived in Vancouver, WA more than half my life, just outside of Brush Prairie.

It makes me angry at our justice system. Sad for Eric’s family and understand their grief but their grief has become visceral hatred and that’s not justice it’s revenge. I’ve seen first hand how people incarcerated are treated with 0 respect as if they are subhuman. We as a country have a long way to go to reform our justice system and sadly with the governing body we presently have and what we might have in the future it looks as though this story will be repeated over and over to many more

I believe as far as the bad seed killer its obvious that he was struggling with these feelings to commit this crime and , I believe the reaching out and telling the truth and how he felt about the crime is good but it doesn’t not mean he’s cured. if given the chance, he will repeat the crime.. But he need mental and spiritual guidance for life.
