Fascinating episode. Really appreciate the unpacking of different arguments among archaeologists on the culture of the Neanderthals and their relationship with us. Also like to hear Jane weigh in her own position on these debates.

I guess if the discussion is between either ”end of one period” and ”beginning of next period” it could could be in a ”transition period”. Great podcast, like it alot.

I appreciate the time that goes into making this podcast. I like the way that different interpretations are presented and its cool to get some of the background on the history of dig sites and such as well. Overall very interesting and informative. Please continue putting out episodes!
