I love the content in this podcast. However, as a black woman, I have to be honest and say it was kind of painful to listen the dreadlocks story. I'm only a few episodes in and don't know if race is openly discussed in future episodes. The reality is as black women, the way we wear our hair has been a point of contention for wayyyyy too long. We don't always have the luxury of wearing our hair the way we want without being viewed as unprofessional or under qualified. Just had to share this!
I loved this interview!Mike is hilarious,I giggled so much, and learned even much more... I heard about this book yesterday, from Amy Porterfield and I ordered it off Amazon immediately. I can hardly wait to get it and dig right in. Yesterday was the first time I heard about your podcast too ladies, I definitely subscribed!
You probs already know dis, but Danielle LaPorte *totally* talks about being curious in her book 'Fire Starter Sessions.' "Passion doesn't need to be constantly fiery or consuming; it can be a steady curiosity and commitment. Genuine curiosity and sincere interest are burning coals that can warm you for a good, long time." π₯π€π€Έπ½ββοΈ I'll buy that for a dollar. Great job, teamππ½
Why does she keep laughing at the boarding house? π
