TR;DL hypercapitalism killed kindness. Well, of course. Sociopaths do very well in authority positions like CEOs. From our earliest beginnings all we are modeled is that our worth is measured by how much we can produce.

I love this gentleman’s energy. he seems so youthefully ebullient about all this information. it makes me want to listen intently to everything he says. how joy is infectious.

Great pod, so much truth. Half the blokes I know have at least at some point considered topping themselves because the modern world considers them toxic and useless. That they’ve soldiered on proves the lie. Highly recommend this podcast.

I am impressed you can read The road once year. It’s nothing against you or the book. I thought it was an amazing read. I feel like it dipped into despair on a whole another level for me. That it is why it’s hard for me to read it again. Which why I think it is an amazing book at the same time. I do not think I will ever see the movie. I will be adding on the authors other books to my reading this year though

Emojis are for exclusive use by teenage girls. Men don’t text anything other than lists or phone numbers, and only when there is no paper and pencil available. Face to face is still the gold standard

great info. tried therapy and just quit because it’s all geared to women or at least feminine prospective. now the big question today is how to find counseling that understands men and women are different and that’s normal

I’m paying for a “degree” to talk about stuff that 80% of the world population already knows 🤦. Then comparing humans to primates 🤦🤦

This is pretty opinionated. I disagree w several things mentioned. Knowledge of the Depp case stands out to those interested in humanity as a whole and relationships, as well as legal processes. Same with the food thing. Lots of people embrace food as part of culture and not a rush thing but I understand the time wasting of indecisiveness. Overall decent podcast.
