Dealing with our parents dysfunctional lives is not our place. We can't undo what they did to us or anyone else. You are not responsible not one bit. Dna does not make you the way he was . He could have been abused himself and never got help. My mother kept so many lies hidden , I found out at 58 she had lied about who my father was . I found out on ancestrydna that my father died in 2006 I found out in 2014 and mom died about 6 months later. I was messed up for a while but I got help and I am so grateful I hated mom for 4 years now I am free of it. I have three siblings i have found on my fathers side and they are great. I would have given anything to know my dad but it is what it is. We don't pick our parents and we sure are not responsible for the bad they do. I am glad you feel better but you should not be apologizing for him . Just go to his parole hearings keep him there.
Seems to me that he knows he cant get to new victims anymore so he uses his daughter to get his fix because he knows he can get to her,and she bites every time
