Not because I was braver (just to clarify), we just weren't told very much at junior school. "Duck and Cover!" etc. Ironically we're in probably as much danger with the current fresh proliferation of Russian and American nukes. "The book of Revelation", yep, well put! lol. đ
I remember the early 80s too, esp the early 80s (I was born late 60s) when we marched in London against US Cruise Missiles on our shores. By the time you reached your teens the immediate danger had receded somewhat in our minds, we older gen x-ers...but yeah you're right, the non-proliferation treaty was ignored pretty much until the 90s. Wow, must have been awful for you, being afraid of nuclear holocaust as a pre-teen. I wasn't all that freaked out until my teens began in earnest around 79/80.
Maybe you mentioned it but didnât Battlefield Los Angles do a good job? Because only find a way to win a battle but the war is still ongoing. But honestly with all the earth lost to figure out how to stop one ship it still wouldnât be strategically feasible to win because the earth fighters wouldnât have to resources to keep fighting đ¨
Misleading title. The subject mentioned in the title is barely touched upon.
Interview begins with "Middle East isn't well understood by white America"... Do you really think that blacks, Hispanics and Asians know the middle East better than White Americans? If not, then why single out whites?
