We have made this a part of our daily routine with our son. We have seen a positive change in his self esteem and the way he interacts with others. We highly recommend making this a daily habit! 😄

Another way to cut onions which I’ve found to work is to not cut the root off until you’re just about done chopping. When cut, the root causes the onion to bleed which is what causes you to cry. It’s difficult to explain without actually physically seeing it, so it’s best to look up “How to finely chop an onion” by Gordon Ramsey. If anyone knows how to do it, he will! 😀

A while ago I listened to Admiral William McRaven give a speech in which he mentioned making your bed and the impact it has on your daily life. It helped me realize that even if I have the worst day, I am still a winner at the end of it because I achieved something (the making of my bed) and even if I don’t see it that way, I have a fresh bed to get into after a crappy day… either way I win!
