Thank you so much for this - listening in the UK. This is really encouraging - so many things you guys said were ‘lightbulb’ moments about historical events in my life - looking forward to listening to more

Recently our pastor (SBC) used Malachi 3:6-12 and his personal experience as proof that we should tithe. He went so far as to guarantee blessings by saying that if in 6 months of tithing we didn’t see an increase that he would personally write a check to that individual or family. I was shocked. The following week I spoke with him specifically about the “test me” part and how that specific challenge was for OT Jews only and I gave my reasons why. He acknowledged I might have a point but he kept telling me how he’s experienced blessings. I tried 3 times to get him back to my original point without success. I assume he doesn’t know who gives what each service, so it’s unlikely that he knows we’re regular givers and have experienced God’s abundance in many ways. But that wasn’t the point I was trying to make. It’s awfully BOLD to guarantee something like that in my opinion. What do you think?

Loving the prophecy review. Hoping this becomes more mainstream in charismatic culture.

Wow!! I never knew other Christians had these experiences. I have had many of these myself & miss God so much when I am living the rest of my life. But noone around me ever understood what I was experiencing. I have had these in corporate worship and prayer, private bible reading, at the end of services. I’m halfway through a diploma of ministry and value the intellectual side of things but it is empty without these experiential realities of God.
