I feel like this removes the joy from the Gospel. Isnโt the good news that our works are but filthy rags because of His gift? Sure, we are obedient, but we fail, we make mistakes, and can be confident that we are still loved and still saved. We need to look to who He is and what heโs done rather than what we do.
Job 28:28 the fear of the LORD is the beginning end ended of wisdom. Thank you for the edification and encouragement in the fear of God.
first of the RCP talks Iโve chosen. thanks for providing these!
For the most part I enjoy the teaching. I have to comment on the Feb 14 message โno expense sparedโ. You need to be very careful with your wording when talking about Jesus taking our sin. The Bible never says that He became a sinner or that the Father saw Him as โthe greatest sinner who ever livedโ. Rather, our sin was placed upon Him so that we would receive His righteousness. He โbecame sinโ, not โa sinnerโ. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Thank you so much for this teaching. It has really cleared up any confusion.

I never thought of the Great Commission as primarily worship to the Lord. What a refreshing teaching. Thank you, Dr. Parsons.

Mmm, I think the Jesus would say to love God and love others. The priority of our lives is to talk to others about Jesus and what heโs done for is. Youโve made it all a work.
