Two things to be careful of when dealing with larger companies, some only make a payment if they receive a purchase order or an invoice and if you set up online banking through one of the online accounting packages like QuickBooks or Xero, they might have the option to pay by card built-in. Make sure you switch that off for larger payments or you’ll lose a lot of money to transaction fees when the companies can pay you by bank transfer with no fees to you.
